St Mark’s C.E. Junior school is a large three form entry school (age 7-11) situated north-east of Salisbury. The school is a proud part of a unique four school campus situated on beautiful downland. We are committed to the education and well-being of each and every child and we all work hard to foster a positive and caring Christian ethos.

We believe it is a warm and friendly place in which to work and learn. We believe the relationships we develop with children and their families enable us to create a distinctive Church School ethos.

We aim to settle the children quickly in a rich environment where they feel happy, supported and challenged to achieve high standards. It is within such surroundings that we believe children will flourish and be encouraged to do their best, whatever their starting points or strengths. We endeavour to stimulate every child’s interest and help them to flourish as individuals.

As a school we have high expectations of manners, behaviour and demonstrating the school’s values. We strive to make learning enriching, challenging and inclusive. We offer high quality teaching, consistent approaches and support for all.

On a personal level, I take enormous pride in seeing our children grow into confident, successful and responsible youngsters. I am heartened that all children can become smarter and they can all contribute to society as shapers and changers – their destinies are not set in stone. Hard work and positive attitudes are rewarded in school and in life.
