Year 6 looked at a selection of objects used by the workers and their families during the building of the Great Western Railway. The children had to work out what they were and who might have used them. Can you guess what any of these objects are?
We had a real treat in Elm class today, when Neil Smith visited us to show us how to draw characters. Elm class proved to be very creative and full of individual flair. A huge thank you to Neil for his time - we hope to see you again soon.
Today in Y3 we were all very excited...lots of our Grandparents came to school for a tea party. We performed our 1950s dance routine, took them on a tour of the school, shared some of our 1950 learning and then had a tea party in the hall.
Holly Class thoroughly enjoyed their cartoon workshop with Neil this morning. Who knew we were all such budding cartoonists?! 😀
Kate from Salisbury Playhouse came into Year 4 today and ran a theatre workshop. We acted out scenes, designed sets and costumes and explored sound effects. It was fantastic; we definitely have some budding actors!
