Year 6 have been brushing up on their watercolour skills. They used wet on wet to create gloomy backdrops and fine brush skills to create an imposing castle.
This morning in Beech Class, the children began to draw on the information they have discovered about Cameroon. They moved between ‘information stations’ to collect facts and put them into bullet points, ready for writing their non-chronological reports. They worked so hard and so sensibly!
Thank you to everyone who for making a huge effort with their fancy dress. All the children looked fantastic.

The children have continued to retell and recall stories in their writing lesson. Learning and recognising the beginning, problem, resolution and ending of stories will equip young learners to build their own narrative.
