This morning, as part of our International Week, Mrs Verda Avila came into Class and delivered a fantastic Spanish lesson. She didn’t speak a word of English yet managed to teach the children numbers, colours and greetings! We all really enjoyed ourselves and learnt so many new words and phrases 😀
Year 3 explored possibilities in their Maths investigation this afternoon by looking for ways of making two arms of a v add up to the same total. They used the numbers 1 to 5, then 2 to 6.
Today we learnt how to work in teams to achieve and overcome!
Yesterday, the children in Beech Class used Julia Donaldson’s ‘Room on the Broom’ as the basis for story building. We did boys v girls and then worked in small groups before performing to the class.
