Today, Lime Class were continuing their learning about animals. We discussed the absence of the aitch sound in hibou and also investigated the difference between porc and cochon for pig and context of use. We looked for animals with four legs and we had some inventive learners suggesting half an octopus or two chickens. We also took the opportunity to use the skills of other language learners in the class and compared certain words in French, Italian and Spanish.
Today we had a great day out at the Harnham Water Meadows. We had a tour of the Meadows, where we learnt lots of interesting facts about the city of Salisbury and the way the Water Meadows have helped the area over hundreds of years. We also had a go at pond dipping in the sunshine!
Thank you to all the adults who came to help. We hope you enjoyed it too!
